MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

Highly Abrasion Resistant belts have an inside carcass of polyester (E) in wrap and polyamide (P) in weft. This gives the belt unique properties:

High resistance to breakage and impact.
Great flexibility and light weight.
Good disposition for trough.
Ageing of carcass is nil.
Low cost maintenance.
High safety .

Our Highly Abrasion Resistant belts are compliant with the internationally recognised norms:

Tensile Strength Elongation At Break Abrasive Wear
 GRADE X

(DIN 22.102)

min. 25 min. 450 max. 120
GRADE M24

(British Standard)

min. 24 min. 450 -

RESISTANCE TO SEPARATION

Between covers and plies    >  8  N/mm

Between plies                      >  10   N/mm

THICKNESS OF COVERS RECOMMENDED

Gravel, coal, limestone             3 + 1,5 mm.

Cutting stones                         4 + 2 mm.

Debris and scoria                     6 + 3 mm.

EDGES

Usually, our belts have sealed edges, but if required, we can manufacture them with cut edges.

ELONGATION UNDER STANDARD LOAD

To determine tension course of a belt, the technical conditions of the installation must be taken into account. As a guideline, the DIN 22.102/89 norm establishes the following values:

Minimum breaking load Elongation under standard load

200- 500

1,5 %

630 -1250

2,5 %

1600 - 3150

3 %

* The standard load is 10% of minimum breaking load.
