RESISTANCE TO SEPARATION

Due to the special chemical components in the rubber covering, oil resistant belts are less adhesive than our standard belts.

Between cover and plies >  4,5 – 6  N/mm
Between plies  >  7 – 10   N/mm

ELONGATION UNDER STANDARD LOAD

To determine tension course of a belt, the technical conditions of the installation must be taken into account. As a guideline, the DIN 22.102/89 norm establishes the following values:

Minimum Breaking Load

Elongation under standard load

200- 500

1,5 %

630 -1250

2,5 %

1600 - 3150

*  The standard load is 10% of minimum breaking load.
